![]() He sleeps in her bed most nights, but nothing else happens A little slow in parts, but overall an enjoyable read. I was left with a lot of unanswered questions, but also felt satisfied with how everything wrapped up. I liked that she was able to see the real him and was willing to give him a chance. He was a little possessive, but in a protective way. I liked the relationship between Morik and Tessa. I liked Tessa, she was a fun heroine even if she did take a long time to come to the obvious decision. It felt like his whole life centered around Tessa and her family. While I thought that was kind of cool, being able to read his mood by his eye color, I would have liked more actual conversations and to learn more about him and what his life was like outside of Tessa. We get to know him mostly through non-verbal communication, mostly through his always color-changing eyes. From what I’ve read in other books he seemed to fit that mythology, but that might just be me. By the end I still wasn’t ever sure what he was exactly, in my head I kept thinking he was some kind of fae, maybe Goblin. ![]() I liked Morik, or at least the idea of him. So much time was spent on pointless details that I felt the character/story/pacing suffered. There is stuff like this throughout the book, it doesn’t add anything to the story or mythology and is just pointless, IMO. I’d be able to wear boots here and have somewhere to keep them after I changed to sneakers.” ![]() "To the right of the door, Mona had several coat hooks and a rubber mat just below it. It tended to be overly detailed/wordy at times and it really slowed down the story for me at times. My biggest problem with it though was I felt it had TMPI (too much pointless information) Syndrome. I enjoyed the idea of the story and thought it had pretty original concept going for it. While I enjoyed Touch, I think it could have been developed a little better. Touch was one of those books, after reading the review from my friend Trissa, I checked out the synopsis and it sounded like a fun read so I decided to give it a try. I have a huge TBR pile and a few books all downloaded on my Kindle and ready to go, but every once in awhile as I’m scrolling through my Goodreads feed I come across a review for a book that grabs my attention. ![]()
